Making Home Link Up #16: More Ikea Projects

Welcome to the #MakingHome weekly link up!

Be inspired by posts all about home; moving house, decorating, DIY, handmade for home, crafts, family activities, recipes, gardening and more.

Don't forget to join in this week and add your own posts if you are a blogger. You can find out how at the end of this post.

First up, a little bit of something from me

This week has flown by (yet again) but in keeping with our intentions of a productive January I have managed to take a few pictures of things to sell online and we FINALLY have a guest bed. We went for a Hemnes Day Bed from Ikea in the end. Seemed like the most sensible option as it meant we would have a room with a function when it is not needed as a double bed for guests. The room will have a pretty cool function too but it's a secret until it's complete *watch this space*.

With our most recent Ikea purchase in mind, this fab Ikea hack post from Pinks Charming (DIY Copper Polkadot Tea Light Holders) and Ikea Haul from Howard's House which were linked up last week to #MakingHome, I decided to share this Ikea project again; 3D Butterfly Wall Art

Who doesn't love Ikea?! There are so many beautiful things to add to your home here and there and it's great to pick up bargain pieces to customise! I also enjoy a free cuppa with my Family Card during the week and a slice of *ahem* cake. Shhhhhh. What is the best thing you have ever bought in Ikea? Any DIY projects using Ikea basics? Tell me in the comments below.

I hope you will join in with the #MakingHome link up this week and add your posts.

HERE'S HOW TO JOIN IN

Place the #MakingHome badge to the bottom of the post you are sharing using the coding under the image below (get in touch if you have trouble). This helps to direct readers to all participants in the link up.

    1. It's dangerous isn't it? You come home with all of the things you didn't know you needed!
