Meet the Maker Catch Up With Katie of Katie Gets Crafty

With the end of the year fast approaching, we are catching up with a couple of past 'Meet the Maker' interviewees. This week, Katie of Katie Gets Crafty reflects on her answer to one of her interview questions. 

I have been approached by the lovely Mrs Crafty B to do a follow up to my ‘Meet the Maker’ interview from last year. It was great fun to look back at the interview and realise how far I have come. The closing question to the interview was:

Any big plans for 2014?
Lots! But my biggest plan was inspired by an affirmation I saw on twitter ‘Do more of what makes you happy’ and that is how I intend to spend 2014!

At the time I remember purposefully leaving the answer rather vague, as in all honesty I didn’t have a clue! I stuck to the affirmation ‘Do more of what makes you happy’ and took baby steps with my blog and crafty makes. Looking back over the last 12 months I am really happy with how things have developed. I have created a presence on Twitter, I am co-host of #craftblogclub and I am finally selling my makes. I have been working really hard on a Katie Gets Crafty Christmas Collection and I am thrilled to be selling my work online and at fairs. I am really enjoying the interaction and positive response of my customers. This has given me the confidence and determination to make 2015 even better! Thank you for your support in 2014.
